My Story

Growing up, I was always around horses and as I spent more time around these amazing animals I developed a deep passion for them.   This passion is not just in riding, but is truly found in learning more about horses and learning how to better listen and communicate with them.

In 2013, I was in a riding accident caused by a misunderstanding between me and my horse, Tribute(pictured above) that resulted in a cracked helmet and concussion.   Following this event, I suffered chronic migraines monthly and headaches daily.  When I heard about Myofascial Release (MFR) in 2016, I wondered if it could help with my chronic headaches.  I had tried everything (Chiropractor, Acupuncture, craniosacral with OT) and figured I’d try something new.  After only 2 sessions, I felt a difference which took away the daily headaches I had been experience for years.  One session,  while talking with my therapist about my passion for horses, she told me about Equine Myofascial Release Seminars.  Having experience how Myofascial Release had helped me, I knew it was something that I wanted to do for the animals I am so passionate about.  So directly following my session, I research what the Equine Myofascial Release Seminars would entail and signed up for the necessary courses.  I completed those courses in 2017 and am now fully certified in Equine Myofascial Release.
